Try the live demo, no password
The demo is the real product, on a fictional restaurant: Le Petit Bistro. Open the menu as a guest, then the restaurant’s side, and follow the order from one to the other.
As a guest
Scan this QR code with your phone: you are now at a table at Le Petit Bistro.
Open the menu on this phone: you are now at a table at Le Petit Bistro.
As the restaurant
Enter as owner, floor staff or kitchen: each shows that role’s screens. Made for a tablet or a computer.
The demo is shared: other visitors may order at the same time as you. A visit lasts two hours, and the restaurant’s settings stay read-only. A dish you mark sold out or a table you reserve goes back within five minutes after your visit, and the demo resets every night. To see an order reach the kitchen, place one as a guest.
The demo on video
One order, from the table to the kitchen, in 55 seconds.
Allergens at the restaurant: the 14 allergens shown and filterable
Every dish carries its allergen declaration, on the list of 14 allergens of EU Regulation 1169/2011. Guests hide the dishes they cannot eat in one tap, and the allergens they chose travel to the kitchen with the order. A dish whose allergens were never declared says so: “Allergens: please ask our staff”. It is never shown as safe.
Giving at the table: guests round up the bill for a charity
When they order, guests can round up the bill or pick a small amount for the charity the restaurant has chosen. Nothing is preselected. The donation sits on its own line of the bill: you collect it with the meal, then remit it. Couvio never touches that money and takes nothing from it.
